A Compelling Message

The Cedar Valley of Iowa invites everyone to Be Part of Something Greater. The branding component of Fulfilling the Vision campaign will push this important, positive message, resulting in more opportunities to attract business investment, higher-paying jobs, talent and ideas.

Create, upgrade and utilize marketing tools and methods, such as collateral materials, web sites, graphics and maps to present the branding message.

Develop and execute a five-year media and public relations campaign that invites audiences to Be Part of Something Greater … promoting a favorable image of The Cedar Valley to the business media, targeted consumer media, government policy makers and influencers and those of us who already live and do business within The Cedar Valley of Iowa.

Seek placement of news articles and stories in specific media outlets (e.g. trade journals, local, national, and international media).

Host site conferences/information tours for editors and reporters of targeted media, taking advantage of Iowa’s high profile during national events such as the elections.

Develop and distribute media kits to targeted news media outlets annually.

Communicate with investors regarding issues and opportunities that will affect the future of the Cedar Valley.

Ensure proper management and oversight of branding strategies and the five-year image enhancement action plan through the Alliance Strategic Communications Committee.

Create systems to provide customized, comprehensive information to business prospects delivered in a form responsive to prospect requirements.
